
Isaiah Maxi is the Volunteer Programs Officer for the Missouri Community Service Commission (MCSC). Maxi, is a native of Kansas City, MO where he was a multisport student-athlete at Center High School home of the Yellowjackets! Then he went on to continue his education as a student athlete with the Fort Hays State University Tigers, completing two Bachelor’s Degrees in Organizational Leadership and Sociology.
Maxi, is an AmeriCorps Alum, completing two terms with the National Civilian Community Corps branch as a Team Leader in both the North Central Region (Premiere Region)campus located in Vinton, IA and the Southern Region campus located in Vicksburg, MS. Also, he completed a half of term with the State/National branch as a Member of the Community Engagement team with Harvesters food bank based in Kansas City, MO. During his time in National Service Maxi has earned the Congressional Award, multiple Presidential Volunteer Service Awards and a led AmeriCorps Team that earned Serve Kentucky’s National Service Award.
